c.1958 Bandai, Triumph TR-3 Convertible (Racer Version)
Superb embossed tin litho friction drive two door convertible Triumph, TR3 sports car. Race car version in burgundy and bright white with black trim. Features open cockpit with upright metal seatbacks, fold down windshield with original blue tinted celluloid windshield and metal frame, plastic steering wheel, bug-eye headlights with chrome plated lenses, chrome checkerboard grille and wrap around front bumper, chrome taillights, bumper plates and trunk handle, chrome plated and lithoed wire wheel hubs with solid rubber tires. "Triumph" lithoed in caps across the front radiator and in large script across the rear trunk. Solid black plate chassis embossed with model and manufacturer. Size: 8" x 3". Sold: Jul. 2005
